The Washington State Legislature passed a capital budget appropriation (April 2012) that contains $1.1 billion in infrastructure investment spending designed to stimulate the lagging construction trades jobs picture in the state. This hard fought victory was championed by Rep. Hans Dunshee. Energy Efficiency Grants for Local Governments – $18 million
Energy Efficiency Grants for K‐12 Schools – $40 million
Financing Energy/Water Efficiency – $5 million
