Earlier this month, the US DOE announced that BPA Administrator Steve Wright would remain in that position. As is typical for changes in Presidential administration, the BPA Administrator position was subject to change by the Obama administration. However, the administration, in an acknowledgment of accomplishments at the agency, decided to retain him. Also this month, BPA announced the kick-off of a new phase of its post-2011 life. The kickoff meeting for Phase 2 of the EE Post-2011 public process will be held on Wednesday, July 7th from 1:00 – 4:30 in the Rates Hearing Room in Portland (911 NE 11th Avenue). There will also be a Live Meeting and phone bridge available for those who wish to participate, but are not able to attend in person. The agenda has not yet been finalized, but it will include a quick overview to close out Phase 1 of the process, talk about what we want to collectively accomplish in Phase 2, discuss a list of issues to discuss in various workgroups through the Phase 2, provide an opportunity for input on other issues and then talk about the format of the process moving forward. A finalized agenda will be sent out prior to the meeting. For questions please contact Josh Warner, Manager, Planning & Evaluation, Energy Efficiency, at [email protected] or 503-230-5857.
