The nationally recognized Building Operator Certification (BOC®) recently added the State of Hawaii to its growing list of partners licensed to implement the popular training and credentialing program for operations staff in commercial and institutional buildings. Maui College will be offering its first BOC course series this year. With this new state addition, the BOC® is now available in 23 states across the country with more expected to be added this year. NEEC developed the Building Operator Certification in 1997. It has received an ACEEE Exemplary Program award recognizing it as one of the top energy efficiency programs in the country. Aloha.
 The Northwest Energy Efficiency Council transitioned to the name Building Potential in 2024. The organization’s legal name remains the same and the Board of Directors and Staff have not changed. |
