NEEC member dues will be sent to membership via e-mail at the beginning of next week. Payment options are available by credit card with convenient access to NEEC’s PayPal account as well as the option for a paper check. NEEC’s membership base has never been stronger. With more than 110 businesses, NEEC is the largest regional trade association for the energy efficiency industry in the United States (though we hope for strong competition from our New England and California counterparts in the coming year). 2012 promises to be another strong year for the industry. The visibility of the work we do has never been greater. For many of us, we would never have dreamed that our work would be a part of the conversation in State of the Union addresses, campaign platforms for Governors, and talking points for just about anyone who seeks an elective office. While this is good and important, the true test of our industry is the market. We want 2012 to have even more buyers of goods and services than we had in 2011. It’s these transactions that make work happen, that expands businesses, and creates new job opportunities at all levels of the career ladder. This, as you know, isn’t as easy as it sounds when spoken on the campaign trail. NEEC is committed to working on the issues that affect the day to day life of energy efficiency markets. With our dues note will come a new schedule of 2012 NEEC member-only webinars. These events will focus directly on the issues that make a difference in the market for energy efficiency goods and services. We’ll also talk about other conferences and events where membership discounts are available. Use your renewal as a convenient time to update your own customizable Directory page on NEEC’s web site. Most importantly, let us know how we can be helpful in making 2012 a successful year. Thank you for your continued support of the industry.
