The CTA-2045 Standard and Flexible Demand
July 1, 9:30 – 11:00am PST
Presented by the NW Energy Coalition
Grid-integratable water heaters and other interactive appliances and systems are the leading edge of a coming wave of customer-side resources that will increase energy system efficiency by enabling utilities to manage and shape electricity demand to a degree never before imagined. Combined with enhanced demand response capabilities, improved energy efficiency, and expanding distributed resources, grid-integratable systems and appliances will play a vital role in transitioning the Northwest to an emissions-free electric system.
The webinar will explore key questions surrounding the rise of customer-side resources:
- How can customer-side resources be engaged to optimally shape demand?
- How large a role can customer-side resources play in meeting adequacy needs?
- What technological, business, and legal barriers stand in the way and how can we overcome them?
And, most importantly, how can we bring customer-side resources to scale? These and other issues will be addressed by a panel of experts who have pioneered recent CTA-2045 pilot programs.
The discussion will be moderated by NW Energy Coalition Senior Policy Analyst, Fred Heutte. Join Fred and the panel on Wednesday, July 1 from 9:30 to 11:00am PST by registering below:
