Position Description: Buildings & Energy Fellow
This is a bridge-to-career opportunity where you can help our community drive real-world change through electric vehicle and clean/green buildings initiatives! In this fellowship, you will be able to work with buildings and transportation solutions, including energy efficiency, electrification, and decarbonization, which are major climate mitigation strategies for the City of Bellevue and the wider Puget Sound region. This position will contribute to and lead projects to advance solutions for community buildings, working with building owners, property managers, or operators, and other technical experts.
The Buildings & Energy Fellow may support or lead the following initiatives:
· The Bellevue Clean Buildings Incentive Program helps buildings comply with state energy efficiency and reporting requirements.
· Electric vehicle charging infrastructure design, technical assistance, and management initiatives.
· Green building design and certification, particularly for affordable multi-family housing.
Compensation & Benefits
· A fixed, monthly stipend of $3,950.
