The Washington State Building Code Council has adopted revisions to the state’s energy code which will become the 2015 Washington State Energy Code. This code must sit through the 2016 legislative session (though no specific action must be taken) with an effective date for all projects permitted on or after July 1, 2016.  The Northwest Energy Efficiency Council transitioned to the name Building Potential in 2024. The organization’s legal name remains the same and the Board of Directors and Staff have not changed. |
