Oregon Legislature Nearly Over

 In 2012, Oregon experimented with the legislative equivalent of speed dating, conducting a session in a mere 30 days. As might be expected, there was very little ambition for energy efficiency issues in such a short session. Ambition met reality this year. 2012 was a year to ensure no policy backsliding in Salem and the session will conclude with no changes to things like the Energy Trust of Oregon or to the now limited tax credit for energy efficiency expenditures by Oregon businesses.
