The Washington State Building Code Council is seeking a Managing Director. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the development, amendment, and adoption of the state building codes, which in turn guide the safe and responsible construction of homes, commercial buildings, government buildings and other facilities.
You will provide clear, concise recommendations on actions related to permanent rule making regarding building codes and will make decisions with statewide impact on residents and government. Ultimately, within this critical role, you will be tasked with balancing the goals and objectives of the building community and legislative mandates with the life and safety of the public.
