Seattle City Light Needs Your Input on Washington Clean Buildings!

Own or manage a commercial building 50,000 sq. ft or larger? Please take a quick, anonymous survey to help us understand your readiness to comply with the Washington State Clean Buildings Act and what kind of programs or resources you think the City of Seattle should offer to help with compliance. More information on the Washington Clean Buildings Performance Standard is below.

WA Clean Buildings Performance Standard—The Washington State Department of Commerce is in the process of implementing the new Clean Building Performance Standard law, which applies to commercial buildings 50,000 SF or larger. The State has sent notification letters to building owners that likely need to comply. Administrative rules and compliance information can be found on the state’s Clean Building Portal webpage.
