Abraxas Energy Consulting was founded in October 2001 in the San Luis Obispo area of California by John Avina, Certified Energy Manager, Certified Commissioning Authority and Certified Measurement & Verification Professional.
Abraxas now supplies services to customers on five continents. We have a team of energy professionals that have taught energy efficiency throughout the world. Our customers include Johnson Controls, Siemens, Honeywell, NORESCO, Chevron, Ameresco, Chase Manhattan Bank, Accor, Pfizer, Purina, Macys, JC Penny, and Government (GSA, Veterans Administration, U.S. Coast Guard, NAVFAC, Bureau of Reclamation, Fish & Wildlife Services, USDA, USACE, Indian Health Services, Housing Authority, and states of South Dakota, New Mexico, and Colorado).
