Oregon Legislature – Update

June 10, 2013 By NEEC

The Oregon Legislature runs longer in the year than its counterpart to the north, so lawmakers there remain actively involved in the regular 2013 session. One bill of note, HB 2801 remains in play there. (This bill sponsored by Rep. Jules Bailey would make some small changes to cost effectiveness in the state as well as address real estate appraiser training and qualifications.) The bill has cleared the House and was passed out of Senate Committee on May 22nd. The full Senate will likely take up the bill for a full vote very soon.
