The non residential energy code in the City of Seattle changed effective November 23rd of this year (the residential energy code will change on the statewide energy code implementation date of Jan. 1, 2011). There is no grace period for projects this year. Work is underway to prepare code insert pages with the Seattle amendments, and to update the Seattle Energy Code website, compliance forms, CAMs and Director’s Rules. DPD will schedule public training sessions after the updated materials are available.
 The Northwest Energy Efficiency Council transitioned to the name Building Potential in 2024. The organization’s legal name remains the same and the Board of Directors and Staff have not changed. |
