As utility conservation programs adjust to the new requirements of Washington’s I-937 requirements, the Washington Utilities and Transportation Commission had requested that they further extend stakeholder input into their conservation programs. Avista Utilities recently announced a reconfiguration of their stakeholder process and invited NEEC as a participant in that advisory process. NEEC appreciates the opportunity to participate in the Avista process and will keep members informed of important issues and relevant information that come out of those on-going discussions.
 The Northwest Energy Efficiency Council transitioned to the name Building Potential in 2024. The organization’s legal name remains the same and the Board of Directors and Staff have not changed. |
