Nonprofit trade association of the energy efficiency industry
Seattle City Light?s Conservation Resources Division is responsible for electrical efficiency and small scale renewable power programs in Seattle and nearby suburbs. These programs range from simple rebates on energy efficient clothes washers and compact fluorescent light bulbs to custom incentives on energy saving commercial and industrial equipment. Seattle City Light also provides incentives for energy efficient build design, offers a voluntary Green Power program, and operates the regional Lighting Design Lab. Seattle City Light is working to increase energy efficiency in Seattle through increased technical support, improved public knowledge about Seattle City Light?s conservation programs, and increased financial incentives for energy efficiency projects.
