NEEC has been selected as the International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) 2014 Exemplar Training Organization, in recognition of the Building Operator Certification (BOC) program. This national award is presented to one training organization each year by IACET. IACET’s mission is to advance the global workforce by providing the standard framework for quality learning and development through accreditation. Their history includes development of the original Continuing Education Unit (CEU) and creation and maintenance of the ANSI/IACET Standard for Continuing Education and Training. IACET uses the ANSI/IACET Standard, in-depth research on the learning process and a nationwide network of experts to, helps companies, associations, government agencies and other continuing education and training providers to develop a framework for continuous improvement and a superior learning experience.
NEEC will accept the award at an IACET awards reception event in Irvine, California on September 18th.
