At the DES’s Facility Professional Services (FPS)-Energy Program, we are currently hiring two new Resource Conservation Managers (RCM). As part of the RCM program team, you will be working with a diverse group of public sector clients to provide comprehensive energy and utility management services. The goal of the program is to help our clients reduce energy, carbon emissions and operational costs. This valuable work is guided by policy and regulations and the compelling truth that we must do all we can to reduce climate impacts today.
The RCM will support this mission by assisting the client to identify low-cost operational best practices that reduce utility consumption and lowers the carbon footprint of the client’s facilities. You will be the primary point of contact for multiple clients with a team of energy management professionals to work with. This unique team approach will draw from a multi-disciplinary team that draws on your strengths and provides an opportunity to grow your skill set through collaboration. This position will be responsible for building long-term relationships with our clients. The position will require statewide travel with some overnight stays.
