The Customer Energy Solutions (CES) division of Seattle City Light is the oldest continuously operating municipal energy conservation initiative in the country, beginning in 1977 when the City established the use of energy conservation as its highest-priority, most cost effective, and most environmentally-friendly energy resource. Since then, CES has become recognized for delivering energy efficiency programs and services to a wide range of customers throughout the City and surrounding communities.
The Customer Energy Solutions (CES) division is seeking an Energy Planning Supervisor to lead the planning work for the Strategy, Planning, and Analytics Section. This is a working supervisor position who leads a team of up to three (3) Energy Planning Analysts that perform research, analysis, data management, and policy development for the utility’s energy efficiency and distributed resource programs. This position plays a pivotal role in helping the utility identify and assess existing and emerging market opportunities, develop forward-thinking business strategies, and provide decision support tools to optimize portfolio performance. This position will report to and work under the general supervision of the Strategy, Planning, and Analytics Manager.
