The Office of Energy Resources released an RFQ for HVAC and control system service providers on February 19. The state is seeking to qualify and select providers that will provide mechanical system tune-ups on approximately 715 statewide K-12 buildings over the next eight months. Providers can specify portions of the state they are willing to service, or they can opt to provide services to the entire state. Firms are encouraged to partner with local providers. Non Idaho firms are eligible to propose if they have a history of K-12 work within the state. For more information please contact Sue Seifert at the Office of Energy Resources: [email protected] In late March or early April of 2010 an RFP for energy efficiency capital projects will be issued for the Idaho K-12 Project. The state expects to spend approximately nine-million-dollars on efficiency upgrades in school buildings.
