Maric Munn, PE, LEED AP, is the Managing Principal of San Timoteo Energy Associates, a consulting firm specializing in sustainable building operations, where she takes the lead on decarbonization projects for government and higher education clients including The Presidio Trust in San Francisco and the University of California Office of the President and in writing curriculum and providing instruction for the Green Building Practicum in partnership with SEI Climate Corps.  With over 30 years’ experience in the fields of energy efficiency, renewable energy and facilities operations, Maric Munn was one of the first women in California hired as a Facilities Services Executive Director with an engineering degree.  Immediately prior to founding San Timoteo, she was the Executive Director of Facilities Services for the University of California San Francisco.  In this capacity, she oversaw the day-to-day operations of a 400 person, $80 million per year operations and maintenance department for campus research, instructional and administrative facilities.  She co-chaired the UCSF Sustainability Steering Committee and took the lead on various energy efficiency, central plant and utilities projects as well as design review of new construction projects.  While working as the Associate Director of Energy & Utility Services for the University of California Systemwide Office, she co-authored the UC System’s first environmental sustainability policy.  Maric holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering, is a LEED Accredited Professional, a Certified Energy Manager and is a registered Professional Engineer in the State of California.
